About Bob Mayo

Bob Mayo is the Founder, President & CEO of Mayo Consulting Group. Mayo Consulting Group was founded after Mr. Mayo’s retirement from Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA). He is currently on the board of the National Federation of Women Legislators and Prevent Child Abuse America. Mr. Mayo is a co-founder of CTCA and represented the organization in a variety of leadership capacities throughout his 40-year career including Executive Vice President, President & CEO, and Vice Chairman of the Board. He represented CTCA in its industry, government and payer relationships, and oversaw all business development and growth initiatives. He currently serves as Vice Chairman Emeritus. Mr. Mayo joined CTCA in 1980 after retiring from a decorated twenty-year career in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, he was the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal (four times), and the Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals. When not working, Mr. Mayo enjoys spending quality time with his wife Cindy, his four children and six grandchildren. He also enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, listening to music (he’s a Motown aficionado), and playing golf.
