As highly engaged technical and business leader, I have a history of nurturing partnerships and solving real-world problems with the practical application of software and hardware technologies. Wired for success, I am committed to continuous improvement and a belief that status quo is never good enough. My approach to management is founded upon building consensus, partnering with internal and external clients, and creating opportunity where none is readily apparent. In my current role with Hitachi, I lead a globally dispersed team of more than 20 to create solutions that enable our customers to optimize their performance. In this highly visible position, I managed an initiative to expand our addressable market by crafting a solution that allowed for the seamless integration of storage systems with third-party products. I am particularly proud of my work in overseeing the global effort to modernize our products through new architecture and software-defined initiatives. My combination of technical skill and business acumen allows me to bring a unique perspective to my work. I understand what is needed from a technical and functional standpoint, and I also know what is critical for maximum operational efficiencies. My team and I work for the customer, and I strive to ensure that customers are at the center of everything we do. To that end, I travel to customer locations worldwide so that our team can better understand how the market uses our products to solve their business problems.
