About Bob Oliver

Bob is an accomplished advocate for low-carbon energy systems, recognized across Canada and the U.S. for helping advance policies that promote the development and adoption of advanced vehicle technologies and sustainable systems of transportation. An author of numerous, seminal reports and educational publications, Bob is also an experienced organization-builder, fundraiser, project manager and executive leader. Currently, Bob focuses on the development of hydrogen pathways to fulfill greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals. Bob has served on numerous committees and advisory groups, including Ontario's Hydrogen Strategy Working Group, the Commission for Environmental Cooperation’s advisory group on North American integrated sustainable freight transportation strategy, the Steering Committee of the Canadian Electric Vehicle Technology Roadmap, the Ontario Energy Board Chair’s Advisory Roundtable, the National Advisory Committee on Energy Efficiency, and Metrolinx’s New Mobility Thought Leader Panel. Bob is a professional engineer and has a bachelor of mechanical engineering from Carleton University.
