About Bob Radu

With over 30 years of experience in software development and leadership, I am currently Vice President of Special Services Technology at ExamWorks, a leading provider of medical review and independent examination services. I lead a highly functional application development team of 20 internal employees and 10 outsourced contractors, delivering quality software and technical solutions for the core business and the network of thousands of doctors across all divisions and units. I reorganized the department to better support the existing user base and the special project needs, while removing distractions for the dedicated development teams during the software development life cycle. I also fostered career growth and leadership opportunities for my staff through training and mentoring. I built a culture of transparency and trust with external stakeholders, using metrics and initiatives to create a partnership atmosphere. I am passionate about learning and innovating, and I leverage my technical expertise and domain knowledge to evaluate business needs to arrive at appropriate solutions. Working remotely for the last 15 years has enabled me to achieve a satisfying balance between professional success and personal well-being.
