I am presently working for Ironclad Developments Inc, based out of Winnipeg. Ironclad Developments Inc is a Manitoba owned builder of high quality apartment complexes with operations in Ontario, Manitoba, and B.C. Upon completion of a complex, it is then turned over to Ironclad Properties to lease and maintain With over 10 years’ experience in construction site safety, I believe my strengths lie in my ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with both management and workers pertaining to the rules and regulations of both a company’s safety program and those of Workplace Safety & Health. I also have an excellent knowledge of the responsibilities assigned to companies, supervisors, and workers along with an excellent knowledge of Return to Work and Modified Duties legislation to help insure stability and/or a reduction of a company’s worker compensation rates. Having trained hundreds of employees, both union and non-union, in several disciplines I bring vast experience and knowledge of the many practices used. This includes, but not limited to, Fall Protection – Confined Space – WHMIS. I consider training one of the most important elements in creating a “Culture of Safety” within any organization and would bring this experience coupled with my desire to ensure workplaces are a healthy and safe environment for all.
