About Bob Vang

My passion is helping people to live a normal life again and excel themselves to the most potential. I was one of the pioneer who came to Minnesota as a refugee. I saw the despaired adults who they think their lives go down the drain because suddenly their experiences, skills and knowledges became obsolete. They can no longer even communicate with other people, worst then then that they have to ask their little children to interpret for them. It is a total humiliation for an adult. I was an E.S.L. teacher for Lao Family Association of Minnesota but I ended up more than just teaching English. Encouraging, supporting, hand holding, cheering them to live a normal life again was a big task. Teaching them, lead them to live a successful live and look for a good positive life in the American society is a big task because there are also negative lives in a big every big cities. That’s why I pursued my Bachelor Degree in Business, Masters’ Degree in Teaching, and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling. I love to see the despaired person to live, at least, a normal life again. Some of my best skills are coaching, teaching, problem solving, resumes, interview, staff development and helping others see past obstacles. I have 20+ years of experience in coaching, training, resume writing and career development. I use success principles and job search strategies working with individuals who are seeking employment. I also speak, read and write in multiple languages and I understand multi-cultural well.
