As a Graduate of the Hiring Our Heroes CFP 25-1 Cohort Fellow with GuidePoint Security, I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to refresh my skills and prepare for my transition to the commercial sector! I look forward to carrying that momentum and my 20 years of Air Force cybersecurity and development experience forward to the next chapter of my career at World Wide Technology as a Cyber Range Architect! My journey has spanned various roles—from a hands-on researcher and developer to a trusted cybersecurity leader and educator. Along the way, I’ve tackled in-depth technical research, led vulnerability assessments, and managed complex programs, all while building and leading multi-disciplinary teams to success. Throughout these experiences, I’ve refined my ability to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences. I have delivered countless presentations and briefings to academia, industry experts, and senior leadership within the Air Force, the Department of Defense, and Congress. I am also a dedicated writer and researcher, having authored numerous technical papers and Congressional Reports on cutting-edge cyber science and technologies. In my recent role as an educator, I had the privilege of shaping the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through a highly technical and operations-focused curriculum that I carefully cultivated for six years. I have personally taught and directed courses in vulnerability analysis, malware reverse engineering, digital forensics, and cyberspace operations. I also oversee our world-class critical infrastructure cyber range, which we use to provide realistic training scenarios to over cadets per year. I look forward to the next chapter of my career as a cybersecurity professional, and I'm highly motivated to solve complex and pressing cybersecurity challenges. Whether it's developing cutting-edge solutions, safeguarding critical systems, or mentoring the next wave of cybersecurity professionals, I’m passionate about making a meaningful impact in this ever-evolving field.
