About Bobby Chapman

I have a very diverse history in the Piping trade, Started as a Apprentice, after Graduating started welding at Watts Bar for a year on hangers. Came home to Augusta, went Back to the Savannah river plant with B. F. Shaw, worked a couple of years as welder in Central Shops, Then asked to join the Testing and Inspection Department (T&I) now days QC. worked my way up to Senior Mechanical Welding Inspector, with M K Freguson, Inc. Then worked as Mechanical Field Engineer for Bechtel Savannah River, Inc. Left after 3 years, and started traveling all over the USA, Fitting and welding on Nuclear Power House Outages. Took a class on Dimetric Welding and started my Automatic Career, worked several different places around the world,(China, Netherlands, Venezuela, Taiwan, & Canada). A good Friend of Mine Became Vice President of SGT (he offered me my first Superintendent Job, May 2007, St Lucie Generator Outage, after that I went to Brandon Shores as Piping Superintendent for Washington Group, AQCS Scrubber project, Left there went to Tree Mile Island Generator Change out Project. Currently working refueling outage, at Millstone as Senior Mechanical Construction Specialist.
