About Bobby Daniels

Bobby is the founder and president of BCD Consulting, a new grant writing and consultation agency. This comes after serving for more than a decade as the director of development and communications for a Nashville-based nonprofit agency. Long before entering the world of grant development, however, he enjoyed a successful and extensive career in the entertainment field. Born in Greenville, North Carolina and raised between Greenville and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a passion for music and performing was discovered at an early age in North Philly while taking piano lessons from the legendary gospel songstress, Clara Ward. In 1979, he co-founded and served as president of two Nashville-based record production companies, Stones River Productions and Showtime Productions, which also guided six music publishing houses. As a songwriter and record producer, among other recordings, he co-wrote and produced the 1985 Grammy-nominated sports-jock production of the Chicago Bears', Super Bowl Shuffle. A snapshot of his feature film credits include, Billy: The Early Years, Elizabethtown, The Second Chance, Work and the Glory 16 short film, 25 stage productions, and a variety of music videos. In addition to his film credits and theatrical performances, he has served as announcer for such star-studded events as the Country Music Association’s production of “Broadway Meets Country” Nashville.
