About Bobby Davidson

My name is Bobby Davidson (pronouns he/him/his). I began my post-secondary career at BCIT in September 2020 and am currently pursuing the completion of the Business Administration Diploma (General Option). As I study to complete my credential part-time, I work a day job as a part-time Cashier at a Whole Foods and consider myself an involved member of the greater BCIT community through serving in multiple student elected/appointed roles. After the completion of my BA diploma I intend to enroll in the Bachelor of Business Administration at BCIT, where as long as I am attending BCIT I wish to continue to work for my fellow students. I aspire to obtain full-time occupation in the future such as a Business Analyst position. Interest in student, Canada, and US politics also has me curious about political service, but importantly seeking more "life experience" first. In my leisure time, I enjoy walks and cycling along Vancouver's seawall, flying my drone (from BCIT's RPAS microcredential program!), clubbing, streaming shows/movies (Sep 2025: limited time on YouTube), and hangouts with friends. I am serving my fourth consecutive elected term on BCIT's Education Council as of June 1st, 2025, and until May 31st, 2026. Member of EdCo Policy Committee (and formerly Education Technology Learning and Design or ETLDC) I have been serving on BCIT's Board of Governors (BoG) since April 4, 2024 and my second elected term concludes May 31st, 2026. I am the Student Representative Governor, serving as one of two students on the Board, the other being the Student Association President Governor (BCITSA President). I am currently the VP of Networking & Outreach at BCIT JDC West. I encourage students to connect and learn more about our organization!
