About Bobby Farmer

As the Chief of Future Operations Planning at the United States Air Force Academy, I lead a team of professionals in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives that support the Academy's mission, vision, and goals. I have over 23 years of military experience in various roles and domains, including operational planning, organizational leadership, quality assurance, foreign military sales, defense security cooperation, and combatant command staff processes. I hold a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School, with a focus on International Relations and National Security Studies, as well as a Master of Arts in Human Services from Liberty University, with a focus on Executive Leadership. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to enhance the Academy's readiness, resilience, and innovation in the face of complex and dynamic recruiting challenges. I have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes and solutions in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and partners, both domestically and internationally. I am also semi-fluent in French and have experience in working with West African partner nations as a Political Military Officer. I am looking for a SkillBridge partner prior to my military retirement in April 2025, with a follow-on employment opportunity that aligns with my values, interests, and expertise. I am open to remote work and am staying local to Colorado Springs, CO.
