About Bobby Keel

I’m an innovator with a diverse background and passion for: healthcare & technology. My career spans roles in trades, labor, and healthcare. As an RN I’ve gained hands-on experience in complex high-stakes milieu. Recently started a new personal project Gidit.co — a dashboard for life. I hold an MSN specializing in informatics, and a self-taught programmer. I work at Johns Hopkins as a clinical info. analyst for medicine units. I’m building Gidit.co to manage life tasks — fiscal, personal, etc; it’s grown legs, hands, and several heads, but when it’s done, I get rid of the mundane permanently. My preference for self-directed learning stems from my belief that formal education should align with professional requirements, so I’ve built my skills outside traditional academic pathways. My life goal is to make lasting connections with people and build a family with my wife — prioritizing people over things. I am exploring law school as a final formal education stent to complete a 2013 goal of achieving a terminal degree. I’d like to accomplish my goal of building a useful app, even if for just myself. I want technology to create impactful solutions in healthcare, improving patient outcomes and system efficiencies, but the beast is a system, and systems don’t change easily. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and staying connected to family in Florida. I enjoy exploring tech — lately, I’m into AI. it helps me do anything; its the nexus of all human knowledge — programming is faster and easier; literature searches are incredible, and analysis of photos and reason for the unknown means I hardly use Google anymore. I’d liken it to the calculator, but not only can AI calculate numbers, but it does everything else too — hypotheticals and theorizing. I’m passionate and I like to solve the root cause, so if you want a patchwork of symptom treatments, I’m not the one for you.
