About Bobby Vlekke

With over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical & healthcare organisations, varying from small start-ups to multinationals, and a strong academic foundation (MSc in healthcare management & entrepreneurship), I have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. Currently, I work at DC Klinieken, a network of 15 specialised healthcare centers across the Netherlands. I am responsible for the procurement, contract and life-cycle management of all our medical technology, real estate and facilities. I lead construction projects at existing and new locations, and co-develop brand franchise concepts / business models. Here, I have honed my entrepreneurial skills, becoming a versatile professional with a passion for pushing boundaries and creating value. Prior to this, I contributed to the commercial launch / success of two game-changing pharmaceuticals in the Dutch market, one fighting obesity in diabetes and another curing HCV in untreatable patients. In between studies, I was an advisor to the Board of Directors of a major teaching hospital regarding all educational matters. developing high-level business acumen at the intersection of healthcare management, education, and strategic leadership early-on in my career.
