About Bobby Walker

Completed LLB at Derby Law School and I achieved a 2:1. I was an active member of the student Law Society, have a keen interest in politics, public policy, debate, mooting and sport, playing American Football for Derby Braves (University), reaching the National University finals in 2018. I am an active, honest, hardworking and self-motivated person who enjoys working in a team or on my own. I am a quick learner who enjoys a challenge. I am fortunate enough to be able to apply methodical, critical and lateral thinking and enjoy problem solving. I have excellent communication skills and am able to discover the needs of others and have a natural ability to extract any and all relevant information. Experiences within Human Resources, Recruitment, Sales and Customer Services have enabled me to be able to clearly explain complex legal information to a wide variety of people in a flexible and personable manner to ensure their understanding. I have a strong social conscious and moral compass; this is demonstrated through being actively involved with social causes that personally resonate. All my legal work experiences were gained through my own efforts and networking. I am passionate about jobs where I am assisting people, helping them make the right choices and influencing them to consider alternative options. Now I have finished my LLB it is my career goal to work within an organisation where hard work, loyalty and commitment is valued and where I can establish a career which is meaningful and rewarded.
