About Bogdan Ivanescu

Bogdan Ivănescu is a physician passionate about a lifestyle aligned with scientific truth. More than a decade ago, he started a crusade against medical myths that do us more harm than good, founding Doctor MiT (Doctor Myth) media platform that conveys essential health information to Romanians through the Doctor MiT TV show, medical conferences, his permanent column in the Știință & Tehnică magazine and the radio show "Medicina pe limba ta!", broadcasted by Kiss FM. He is also the host of the DIGIPEDIA Știință TV-show, aired by DIGI World. Dr. Ivănescu was the coordinator of the first clinical trial in Romania that aimed to treat an increasingly common neurological disease, autism, using stem cells harvested at birth. He founded Stem Sure and promotes cell transplants, being part of the team that treated the first big burn patient in Romania using progenitor cells. For a few years already, he has hosted the DIGI documentary "Risk Zone," which presents the achievements of Romanian researchers in biotechnology, being personally involved in this medical field and publishing scientific papers in specialized journals. Dr. Ivănescu encourages a healthy lifestyle by personal example by climbing one of the 7 Peaks of the World, Uhuru (Kilimanjaro), and the Himalayan Imja Tse mountain, by practicing skydiving, freediving and horse riding. Furthermore, like any self-respecting motorcyclist, Dr. Bogdan Ivănescu is a constant blood donor, encouraging the sporting communities he belongs to to contribute to saving lives.
