About Bogdan Mocanu

I am a solution architect and senior software engineer, currently working for Nagarro in Brașov, Romania. I have more than 20 years of experience in designing and developing Java enterprise applications. I started coding when I was little, playing with Basic on a ZX Spectrum HC90, then I moved on to QBasic, Turbo Pascal, Turbo C++, Delphi, C++ Builder. In 2004 I got my first job in IT, and about one year later I started developing enterprise applications on the Java platform. Thanks to all the projects that I developed since then, I got a very good knowledge of some of the most popular frameworks available on the Java platform. In 2010, as part of the iQuest Technologies team, I moved to the Telecom business unit, working with large telco operators and providing support for large scale nation-wide projects. 3 years later I was moving into the field of Identity Access Management, working with cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure and mobile digital signatures. On a personal note, I love working with people, coaching and helping others in any area, especially where my computer science professional expertise gets involved. I also love to get involved in activities that are challenging my creativity and imagination. I deeply believe nothing is impossible in the world of software technology. Any problem, as difficult as it might seem, has at least one solution. It might not be something that the client will like/want/need/pay for, but hey, technically will surely work.
