About Bor Marolt

A physicist living in the world of control systems for particle accelerators. I am excited by new challenges in both the technical and project/group management aspects of my work. The work in control system design and development leads me through variety of projects of different complexities and sizes at many different scientific and medical accelerator facilities. I consider myself to be valuable in: • understanding customer's true needs • designing and developing the system according to those needs • adapting to changes in the surrounding reality of the project (be it changes in requirements, budget, timeline, resource availability.) • finding quick and sustainable fixes to acute technical issues • understanding the strengths and weaknesses of my project team and staffing the projects accordingly • defining career paths for members of my group according to their strengths, wishes and company needs • driving a project with integrity, delivering quality results in agreed timeline and budget • keeping positive work atmosphere and high morale even in periods of high pressure and tight deadlines
