About Bora Yuksel

I am a mechanical engineer working as a design engineer in the HVAC industry. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Heat and Fluid Mechanics at Yildiz Technical University, combining my academic studies with hands-on experience from engineering projects. I have specialized in parametric design, sheet metal manufacturing, mechanical design, and design automation. I develop 3D product families using Autodesk Inventor, manage PDM libraries with Vault Pro, and deliver integrated solutions for production processes. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the design of fire-resistant and explosion-proof (ATEX) fans in compliance with EN 12101-3, EN 1363-1/2, and EN 14986 standards. I have programmed design automation scripts using VB.Net and iLogic, contributing to fan selection software by automating technical calculations such as airflow, pressure, sound levels, and power consumption. I have also worked on cost analysis, production optimization, and advanced Gantt charts that streamline communication between departments. In my master’s studies, I focus on advanced heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and CFD analyses, with a thesis targeting the evaluation of car park ventilation systems for electric vehicles using CFD simulations. I have prepared reports, budgets, and technical documentation for TÜBİTAK-funded projects and represented my company at international exhibitions such as ISH Frankfurt and MCE Milano.
