About Boris Batocanin

Hi, I'm Boris Batocanin, the founder of Ragebite, a company on a mission to power the entertainment industry and make everyday life more exciting and joyful for people. Ever since I was a kid, I've been captivated by technology, entrepreneurship, gaming, and the idea of building communities of people who share these passions. I started my professional journey in 2013, working as a creative designer in the gambling and betting industries. That same year, I began collaborating with top esports companies, helping them establish strong digital communication channels with their audiences. In 2016, I took a significant step towards entrepreneurship by co-founding pixiesquad with a couple of close friends. Our goal was simple yet ambitious: to provide esports organizations with immersive websites that set them apart. We succeeded beyond our wildest dreams, amassing a portfolio of more than organizations and revolutionizing the space. But I wasn't done yet. In 2018, I founded Ragebite along with my co-founders. We've been fortunate to work with some big names like Logitech G, Twitch TV, Overwolf, UGC, Moonsama, and many more. In 2021, we took Ragebite to the next level by launching Playbase.GG. Initially conceived as a SaaS to provide esports organizers with white-labeled technologies, we quickly pivoted to incorporate blockchain technology. This move made us one of the first platforms in the esports industry to leverage blockchain for solving some of the most pressing issues we face. My role has been to spearhead product growth, articulate our product vision, and forge long-term partnerships with organizers. I'm fiercely passionate about esports, gaming, blockchain, and the emerging metaverse. I'm always on the hunt for new challenges and milestones to achieve. At the core of all my ventures is a desire to make people's lives better, to make their experiences more engaging and exciting. I've been featured in publications like Yahoo Finance, Esports Insider, Dot Esports, Netokracija, and Behance, but what truly drives me is the impact we can make on society through our products.
