About Boris Bortolossi

I love digital products. I love to conceive, draft, build and release them, to get customer’s feedback and to reiterate the process and strive for improvement. My experience spans from e-commerce to SaaS development, from startups to big corporate, I always felt enriched and learnt from all my previous experiences, and gave substantial contributions to their success. Here's a brief overview of my professional experience- I led the localisation of an e-commerce retail business to 15 EU countries, with dedicated content/e-shops/logistics/marketing/support- I had the chance to work at Amazon, where I learnt to raise the bar and to give attention to details, such a great experience it was- I then joined the biggest European car rental company, in charge of the conception and development of their mobile and customer self-care experience- I moved to the other side of the world and dove deep into Global Mobility, building a very complete SaaS tool to allow all the actors involved in mobility centralise work streams- I exited the SaaS I built, acquired by n.1 of Global Mobility softwares, Equus Software, and remained as team member to continue improve the system. I enjoy meeting new people and talking about products, being surrounded by developers and QA staff, I am not much of a sales guy, I prefer to focus on understanding customer’s needs and translating it into a fully working product. I am a sharp decision maker, led by my gut instinct, yet systematically backed up by data. My most relevant professional skills are: Customer Requirements Collection, Storytelling, Product Management, Product Development, Product Roadmap, SaaS, Team Leadership, Agile Development, Release and Rollout. My most relevant knowledge domains are: IT Project Management, Enterprise Software, E-commerce, Global Mobility, European Law, Localisation I am also quite gifted on foreign languages, I speak fluently English, French, Spanish and Italian, I have basic knowledge of German and I am working to improve my Vietnamese.
