About Boris Duval

Holding a double-degree in Marketing Communications, I had the chance to study and work across Europe, which granted me with an open mind and an ability to quickly adapt to complex work environments. In my current work, in the field of Internet governance, I translate technical information into easy-to-read and accessible content for an audience that spans 76 countries. This includes many writing formats such as blog posts, briefings, emails, policy documents, presentations, reports and web content. I also have experience working with web design and I am able to deliver communication outputs on time while keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged. A good example is the redesign of the Climate Action Tracker platform, which tracks governments' climate action commitments. I also had the chance to work for an international health NGO with colleagues from ten sub-Saharan African countries and therefore understand the challenges of working in a multi-cultural environment. Additionally, I have been on both sides of event communication, as an organiser and a participant, and know how to connect with important stakeholders and promote key messages. This includes participation in high-level events in the field of health, climate and Internet governance. My working languages are English, French and Dutch.
