Slashie” / A countable noun./ A word used to describe a multi-skilled, multi-faceted, professional life juggler. As a kid I remember being drawn to stories of heroics and bravery. The stories of sportsmanship, superheroes and history which I grew up with motivated me to take action. I wanted to emulate my heroes so I buried myself in history books, learned a musical instrument and took up various sports. In the end, the result of great storytelling was a change in my behaviour. Fast forward to the present and now I’m learning ways to affect audiences just as I have been. I’m currently working as a Head of Brand at Isadore Apparel where I focus on developing the brand and building a vibrant community. Colleagues know me as an individual driven by creative intuition but able both to gut check and to course correct with data, as well as use data for reporting and optimization. I am a naturally curious person. I love to ask questions. My passion is to deliver a beautiful experience to the right person at the right time through the marketing channels best suited for the situation. And to do so I often test assumptions and research the audience. I love to talk cycling, coffee, design or business so reach out if you have those on your mind.
