About Borys Bondar

Medical Affairs are transforming nowadays, moving towards digitalization and MCM approach. During this journey, how often do you feel that different functions (Medical, Customer Excellence, IT, etc.) do not understand each other? I am such a person who speaks their languages and can build an inter-functional bridge. Through 8 years in the industry, I have learned how to apply knowledge and skills gained from my previous 25+ years in clinical medicine, basic science, and IT. I have already ensured seamless roll-out of several digital solutions at the affiliate or regional level: materials review system, medical information system, medical CRM. Now I am a Digital Transformation Champion and lead the development of several communication channels. My "Traditional" Medical Manager's competencies: cross-functional strategic and tactical planning in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment, HTA and Market Access activities in a highly competitive market, insights analysis, gap analysis, organization of educational events with international participation, etc. Those were crucial for preparing successful launches of several innovative products for treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia, HCV-infection, and inflammatory bowel diseases. Trained as a physician, I am very proud of being involved in the evolution of standards of care by bringing science closer to patients.
