About Bowman Hallagan

Growing up in Rhode Island and having the perspective of living in different cities over the course of a career has provided me a wide lens in my viewpoint of the world. Throughout life, I have been extremely fortunate to have been surrounded by patient mentors who have challenged, guided, and molded my leadership style over the years. I operate on a simple belief: do the right thing. When that is your guiding principle and you lead from the front with honesty and integrity, you’ll always be on the ‘right side’ of the table. This is what drives me in my work with clients, those I have the privilege of working with every day at Bernstein, and in leading Bernstein’s Dallas office as Managing Director. When I was originally tapped on the shoulder to lead the Dallas office, I was thrilled! In examining the opportunity that Dallas presented, the growth, the culture, the people, it was clear that this was not only a chance to lead an office in a market that is a national powerhouse but one which matched my ideals. While the firm has had a presence in Dallas for 20-years, I do not believe we’ve scratched the surface. In particular, Bernstein’s Dallas office aligns well with the demands of the affluent community in the DFW area—unmatched integrity, outsized opportunity, and a smart, bespoke approach to their individual needs. My wife and I are lucky to be joining this community, to continue the work and culture building I’ve been a part of for 9 years; we are thrilled to be leading the expansion of the Bernstein brand here in Dallas. When I look back in 20 years, I want to say that this office has had an impact on those we’ve worked with. That our clients have become engrained into our lives because we have had similar ideals, motivations, and interests. This is the culture that I look to inspire as we continue to build upon our presence in the Dallas market. As I enter the next decade, both personally and professionally, this is what excites me each and every day.
