About Boyee Chung
I am currently in the Chemical Genetics group of Chemical Biology and Therapeutics at Novartis. Our group focuses on tackling rare diseases at the intersection of chemistry and biology. I graduated with a Masters of Science degree at the University of Toronto (St. George campus), working in the Rob Batey group. My project revolved around the total synthesis of depsipeptide natural products. The Batey lab aimed to explore the chemistry of natural products and to create innovative methods of synthesizing novel compounds. Some of my hobbies include: baking, attending art exhibitions, trying new and exciting food around Toronto/Boston, taking pictures of anything and everything and running.
