Hired at Tektronix in 1978 to begin a R&D project on GaAs substrates, first employee of that project. This project evolved into what is TriQuint Semiconductor today. Before Tektronix, I worked two years at Hughes Research in Malibu doing ebeam litho on GaAs.During my 33 year stint at TEK and Triquint I worked on just about every aspect of GaAs processing, ended up the photolithography sectionhead for the last 18 years. Before that worked in implant, metals, CVD, plating, all in an R&D mode.
