About Brad Bowling

I’ve taken the road less traveled in my career. I graduated in the shadows of the global financial crisis. With a small state school name on my resume and the toughest job market in a generation staring me in the face, I elected to go straight to earn my MBA. Then, thanks to being displaced from my grad school town by an F5 tornado, I began my career going door-to-door selling roofs for the recently launched family business. Eventually I got back to my education and navigated my way through the finance & investment world; starting with big four audit, then middle market consulting, then alternative investment / private equity, and now on the strategic financial advisory / investment banking side. Throughout my journey, I’ve learned a wide variety of skills- Corporate finance (financial modeling, FP & A, & reporting)- Investment origination & management (research, analysis, underwriting, structuring, & execution)- Financial advisory (seller representation, buyer representation, valuations)- Copyright creation & capital raising (investment memos, pitch books, & marketing presentations)- Sales & business development (prospecting & pitching)- Process improvement & corporate strategy I’ve also been fortunate enough to touch multiple industries (financial services, sports, media, entertainment, telecom, aviation, gaming, real estate, roofing & construction) and transact in a wide range of asset classes (private debt, private equity, structured credit, real assets, fund investments, and secondaries). I am passionate about learning new things (self-taught in Spanish & currently taking courses in Python), being active (weights & yoga,~4 handicap in golf, surfing / snowboarding / hiking) and meeting new people.
