About Brad Dockins

Worked 17 years in heavy industry at ALCOA Aluminum in Alcoa TN including 24 months as a electrician apprentice. After a reduction of forces in 1994 I immediately moved into the Dental Industry as a service technician until I accepted the equipment sales position in 2005 and Equipment and Technology Specialist in 2014. In addition to the experience gained during time as service technician, I have completed several specialized courses in dental office planning and design as well as equipment selection. As Equipment Sales Specialist, I have participated in over 75 major projects. Approximately 45 of these projects were new facilities with the remainder being facility renovations and multi-room replacements. Managed numerous smaller projects including single room replacements and individual equipment replacements such as chairs, units, lights, X-ray and utilities. As Equipment Specialist my responsibilities include office floor-planning and design, equipment evaluation and selection and detailing floor plans for installation of the equipment. Also responsible for many of the activities experienced while a technician, which include working with contractors and journeymen to plan and oversee job sites for plumbing, electrical, mounting reinforcements and project timeline management. in January 2014 I also became responsible for technology sales which includes computer hardware, practice management software and high tech equipment.
