About Brad Dollevoet

Brad Dollevoet is a seasoned municipal management executive with over 14 years of municipal management experience. Brad’s senior municipal experience includes the following key areas: Land use and community planning, economic development and tourism, bylaw enforcement, building inspection, and development engineering. Brad has completed a certificate program in Municipal Management & Leadership from the University of Alberta’s School of Business. In his senior roles, Brad has led a number of strategic planning exercises for Councils and Boards to set priorities, develop actions plans, and determine targets and measurement. Brad is also a trained economist and has provided economic modelling and consulting advice to provincial governments on high level strategic projects, such as the Government of Alberta’s Land Use Framework. He completed both his undergraduate degree in Honours Economics, and masters degree in Resource Economics from the University of Alberta. Brad’s specialization is in economic development, land use planning, and strategic planning for small, rural municipalities across British Columbia and Alberta. Brad’s work experience for small communities includes the development of a number of economic development strategic plans, tourism marketing strategies, Official Community Plan/Municipal Development Plan reviews, neighbourhood redevelopment plans, downtown revitalization plans, and community branding processes. Brad is a registered member of the Planning Institute of British Columbia, and the Canadian Institute of Planners, and has past sat on the City of Penticton’s Community Sustainability Advisory Committee and as a Board member of the Mountain Rose Women’s Shelter.
