About Brad How

I am a highly motivated operational manager with 29 years of experience in the automotive industry. Having started my career at the base of operations as an hourly team member I am an energetic and ethical professional who has established a record of success in operations, supply chain and quality leadership roles. I am highly motivated to ensure that the people around me are successful and strive towards finding the positives in situations by using them as learning experiences. Recognizing my strengths and weakness but also those within my team, I have been able to lead teams through numerous changes that affect the culture and behaviors within the workplace. I can speak with confidence about the topic at hand giving influential and positive feedback to the group or individual. I have an excellent understanding of the roles and responsibilities in a Quality department, streamlining processes in the roll of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and developing process within the role of Materials Manager gave me the upper hand needed to facilitate changes to increase productivity. I have supported plants in North America and the United Kingdom that were launching new products overcome the bottlenecks in material flow allowing for a successful launch. I have extensive experience working with unionized groups through labor management meetings and contract negotiations while driving the awareness of operational targets and the importance of urgency during critical levels and situations. Having reached many of my professional goals, I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in management from Northwood University in order to reach my final goal of Plant Manager.
