About Brad Layher

I have been building and putting things together since I was a young boy. Legos, erector sets and remote control cars, to name a few. I’ve always been intrigued to watch all the parts and pieces come together to form something completely different. My strength is being able to see how all of the details fit together to become the larger picture. After receiving my degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Tech University, I knew I would use my education for something different. So, I instead chose to be the one building. Making sure all of those details fall into place. We joke that my second language is “Engineer”. But it has proven itself useful time and again being able to liaison between all parties involved. I plan, estimate and manage projects ranging from commercial tenant build-outs, site work development and townhome & single family construction. In my experience, a large portion of financial loss on a project can be the result of not knowing what the ultimate goal was at the beginning. I enjoy using that skill to help owners & investors, engineers, architects and subcontractors to understand what questions to ask ahead of time to avoid moving backwards in the middle of construction. No construction project is without it’s issues. But helping eliminate those timely and costly mistakes before they happen creates a project where all parties can succeed.
