I try to find the right people, then stay the hell out of their way." This statement was uttered in front of me as a passing statement, almost in jest. However, the more interaction I have had with creatives and creative teams, the truer that statement has become. Telling stories is at the heart of everything we do. That can be done through a variety of mediums - photo, video, audio, music, graphic design, immersive 3D environments, and a multitude of additional constantly evolving modes of expression. I've spent most of my time since my high school years discovering and learning various methods of telling stories in a captivating way. Having studied an eclectic mix of film, audio, architecture, drawing, 3D modeling, and visualization, I have learned that there is no singular answer for which software / operating system / stylistic medium is supreme. There is, however, a singular answer for making sure your creative team is successful, healthy, innovative, and growing: Find the right people, give them clear purpose and direction, empower them to innovate and push forward, then get the hell out of their way.
