Rooted in a fervent passion for problem-solving, I approach tasks with a hands-on mentality, whether working independently or within collaborative settings. In my most recent role I drew from extensive experience from a lengthy commitment to Samsung SmartThings to drive success in solving problems and enhancing platform functionality and stability. Notably, I led the technical and operational aspects of a university payment kiosk project, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders to deliver a robust custom POS solution. This experience underscored my ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical counterparts, showcasing strong communication and project management skills. My journey into tech was fueled by my earlier experiences in GIS and conservation work, which provided a unique perspective in the application of technology and analysis and served as a bridge from my foundational career in science education. These diverse experiences have enriched my skill set and instilled in me a deep appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving.
