I help people craft more fulfilling lives, build better communities, and transform ideas into strategic action. For me, a fulfilling life means living, working, and playing in ways that support holistic well-being—good physical and mental health, strong social connections, civic involvement, and contributing to something larger than oneself. A better community is vibrant, equitable, sustainable, and resilient—where every member can thrive. I bring a “Swiss Army knife” versatility to this mission, combining expertise in education, research, communication, engagement, and development. My career blends the intellectual rigor of an academic with the practical adaptability of a hands-on problem solver. As an Assistant Professor in Community & Leadership Development, I’ve taught and advised over 1,300 students, designed nine distinct university courses, published research, and built programs that connect people, knowledge, and resources for real-world impact. I thrive in collaborative, high-functioning teams where ideas become action. Like a sous chef turning a head chef’s vision into reality, I work across functions—planning, coordinating, troubleshooting, and contributing wherever needed to keep complex projects running smoothly. I value leaders who know the work firsthand and teams that combine high standards with mutual support. At my core, I am a lifelong learner and connector. I draw energy from curiosity, critical thinking, and openness to new experiences. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into accessible concepts, creating safe and engaging environments for learning, and celebrating others’ growth and achievements along the way. My work spans designing educational programs, conducting applied research, producing multimedia content, leading community engagement initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of change-makers. I am guided by values of lifelong learning, exploration, community, craftsmanship, continuous improvement, social and environmental impact, and a strong work ethic.
