About Brad Oreilly

I am a registered Teacher currently working at Arcadia College, where I serve as the Year Level Coordinator for Year 12. I hold a Master of Secondary Teaching and a Bachelor of Counselling – Clinical Counselling and Applied Psychology. I have extensive experience working with disengaged youth in both educational and wellbeing-focused roles. My current position involves leading the academic, wellbeing, and personal development outcomes for our Year 12 cohort. I oversee curriculum delivery, student engagement, and the implementation of personalised learning and wellbeing strategies that align with Arcadia College’s trauma-informed and inclusive approach. Previously, I was the Head of Health and Physical Education (HPE) at Arcadia College, where I led the design and implementation of curriculum across Years 7–12, coordinated major school sport events and carnivals, and embedded health and wellbeing content into practical and theoretical units. I have over five years’ experience mentoring teenagers, including my time at Emmanuel College’s "The Stand Academy", and during my tertiary studies where I concurrently supported students at Arcadia College as a wellbeing mentor and Teacher Aide. My qualifications and experience in education, mental health, wellbeing, and life skills have fuelled my passion to support young people in building resilience and striving for personal excellence. I am driven by a desire to help students become confident, capable individuals prepared to make positive life choices. With a strong passion for AFL, fitness, and sport, I bring energy and relatability to my work with young people. My professional objective is to contribute to a workplace that values excellence, long-term wellbeing, and personal development—a place that empowers individuals to grow today and into the future. My pathway into wellbeing and education has always been rooted in meaningful, practical experience. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people through purposeful teaching, mentoring, and leadership.
