About Brad Rachman

Brad Rachman is an experienced health professional currently serving as Medical Director of Rachman Clinic in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Active in clinical practice since 1986, he specializes in providing naturopathic primary care for a range of chronic and challenging health issues. Dr. Rachman serves patients throughout the Asheville and Black Mountain region. Beyond his work at Rachman Clinic, Dr. Rachman also teaches restorative yoga therapy at Black Mountain Yoga. As co-founder of this yoga center, he actively develops original yoga curriculum while providing medical oversight. Recently featured in a New York Times article, Brad Rachman’s work at Black Mountain Yoga is highly regarded for its unique application of yoga to a variety of health concerns. In addition to his experience as a clinician and a yoga therapist, Brad Rachman holds extensive experience as an executive in the medical industry. From 1990 to he served as Chief Executive Officer of ER Technologies in Fort Myers, Florida. His work in that position focused on developing advanced nutritional supplements and nutraceuticals. He also oversaw the marketing of these products across the United States and in 25 countries across the globe. During that time Dr. Rachman was the host of “Healthy Living,” a nationally syndicated radio show focusing on holistic health and natural therapies. Dr. Rachman’s most recent business leadership experience also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Digital Dynamics and Vice President of Medical Sciences and Clinical Innovation at Genova Diagnostics, the world leader in advanced laboratory diagnostics. Brad Rachman studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan and graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. Completing his naturopathic education at the Institute for Functional Medicine, he has dedicated most of his professional career to the treatment of chronic debilitating illnesses.
