About Brad Ruggles

Oh, hello there! You want to learn more about ME? Well shucks, you're making me blush! Where do I begin? I've loved all things creative since I was a kid. When I was just 15 I fell in love with typography and hand-lettered signs and decided I wanted to own my own sign-painting shop. I had some business cards printed, bought some paint and brushes, and started advertising my services. It only took me a few months and about a hundred hand cramps to realize that I wasn't cut out to be a sign painter but my creative career was just beginning! With the advent of the "World Wide Web" in the mid 90s, I discovered I could take my creative skills ONLINE! My first job was as the webmaster of a fairly large Internet Service Provider in Michigan. My web design skills left something to be desired but I was hooked! Through the years, my creative journey has taken me around the world (literally) and has allowed me to work with some of the most incredible companies and non-profits. I've also worked for several churches (and even started one of my own) so I've been able to hone my leadership and communication skills while developing teams and serving my community. It's been most excellent!*Bill & Ted air guitar* When I'm not whipping up sick designs or leading teams of talented creatives, you'll find me in the great outdoors enjoying all things nature - backpacking, kayaking, cycling, stargazing, or obstacle course racing. In addition to that, I'm an avid reader, a lifelong learner, Star Wars fanboy and comic geek, a lover of whiskey and craft beer, and always on the lookout for the next great adventure!
