About Brad Silva

Focused on Process Safety and working with Reactive Materials. My background is in engineering with a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). I've spent most of my career supporting operations and safety for finishes operations. In this I've worked to support the Process Safety Management of small scale labs and production lines. In my current role I work with our varied customers to identify risk and testing solutions. These trials help HSE professionals make data driven decisions on energetic, reactive, and flammable materials. I support DEKRA's lab in Princeton, New Jersey where we test: Combustible Dusts, Reaction Calorimetry, Thermal Stability, Flammable Materials, Refrigerants, and UN/DOT classification. In my personal time I enjoy marathon training, science fiction/non-fiction books, and enjoying recreation in the Pacific Northwest.
