About Brad W.

Brad is a hands-on, technically minded, leader with excellent communication skills. He is the owner of Walser Technology Group, Inc.(WTG) which is an Information Technology Services Company located in the heart of downtown Salisbury, NC. Brad is a Graduate of Appalachian State University’s John A Walker School of business with a degree in Information Systems. The core areas of WTG are managed services, systems integration, and contract support. WTG’s team of technicians work through their partner programs to deliver turn-key systems for dental / medical practices, manufacturers, and other businesses in and around Rowan County From 2002-2007 Brad worked in the electrical industry as the Director of Information Technology for the SERC Reliability Corporation. He has successfully managed projects for a variety of organizations large and small. His experience has allowed him to negotiate and manage many development, hosting, and circuit contracts. Brad has worked with Guidance Software Solutions, Inc. since 2003 on the ERC portal system, an electrical industry leading system for compliance management at a regional level. In 2008 Brad was voted into the Chair position for the Consortium Users Group (CUG). The CUG is a users group responsible for co-developing enhancements and modules for the ERC portal system. Its membership was comprised of 6 of the 8 regional councils in North America and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). Brad’s mission is to exceed his client’s expectations by making informed decisions on their behalf. Due diligence and best practice approaches are used to ensure a solid framework for successful projects. Experience and a dedicated drive allow Brad to be an effective project manager and team leader.
