I’m a transportation and logistics executive with 20+ years of expertise elevating the customer experience through technology and innovative solutions. My career spans both technology startups and Fortune 500 3PL organizations, with the first half focused on managing transportation operations and the last 15 years leading technology-driven transformations. Leveraging my operational background and deep understanding of business and technology, I’ve consistently delivered measurable results that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. For example, I drove EBITDA growth from $12M to $31M annually by implementing MercuryGate TMS to optimize truckload, intermodal, and less-than-truckload freight across 105 agent offices and 250 customers. This enhanced visibility and decision-making, enabling stakeholders to improve margins, secure new business, and exceed customer expectations. I also built and led a 22-person managed transportation team to execute a $325M freight management solution for Ferguson Enterprises, transforming their transportation network across 1,100 branches and 12 distribution centers. This effort delivered $32M in cost savings over two years while generating $2.5M in annual management fees and $12M in freight revenue. Additionally, I designed and implemented a $45M supplier management program for At Home Stores, integrating a supplier management system with OTM and Descartes to streamline operations across 250 suppliers in China and Southeast Asia. By automating PO management, container loading, and shipment execution for TEUs annually, we improved visibility and efficiency, achieved $2M in margin, and expanded MODE’s international freight capabilities. Most notably, I drove $160M in EBITDA over seven years and secured a 2.5x ROI for Hub Group by leading the $238.5M divestiture of MODE Transportation to York Capital Management. I created a standalone strategy and operational roadmap, establishing MODE’s independent IT infrastructure and launching new growth initiatives, including a Managed Transportation business and a data science practice to optimize pricing and capacity.
