About Braden Deines

I am a STEM MBA student at the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business and I have my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech. I will graduate from the STEM MBA program in December 2023 and I am currently seeking full time positions for an engineering role.While at the Rawls I have learned - how to effectively work on teams - communicate deliverables and - developed my leadership skills. One way I have done this is by working on an integrative project that spans the length of my MBA program and requires me to work with a team of four to learn the concepts of technology commercialization, marketing, and selling the product concept that we create.My degree in Mechanical Engineering equipped me to - digest complex content and - understand the fundamentals of engineering. I was able to display these skills during my capstone project where my team of six designed and constructed a household trash compactor during two consecutive semesters. We discovered customer needs and requirements, created a timeline for construction, and built custom parts to create our final product where we presented the machine to our peers and instructors at the biannual Design Expo.I am passionate about improving myself and my work environment by bringing a strong work ethic, honesty, and servant leadership to my role and some of my strengths are being a restorative, analytical, and responsible person.
