Braden previously served as the weekday afternoons host for indie617.com, Boston’s independent Music Source. He also taught as a Professor in the Media/Communications Department at Franklin Pierce University, where he instructed four classes: Broadcast Journalism, Multi-Cam (television) Production, Audio Production, Introduction to Media Production. Until August 2019, Braden served as the accredited Digital Media Teacher and Media Production Specialist at Somerville Public Schools, where for 5 years he taught and created amazing digital media and campaigns with his amazing students at Somerville High School, Full Circle Alternative High School and Next Wave Alternative Junior High. Braden is an on-air and production talent with over 20+ years of experience producing & managing dynamic creative media productions. Until late 2014, he was the on-air executive producer of one of the most successful & long-running daily morning shows (Karlson & McKenzie) in a highly competitive and unique Top 10 major media market (Boston) for a Marconi Award-winning station (100.7 WZLX, Boston's Classic Rock). Not only did he help craft and create amazing, personality-driven Morning Drive radio for nearly a decade; under his tenure, WZLX saw the morning show grow into a bankable ratings winner for the first time in the station's history. He helped build the "Karlson & McKenzie"​ brand & identity through careful collaboration with many other departments into something both listeners and advertisers embrace. He loves creating coordinating exciting and engaging content, promotional material and one-of-a-kind events via multiple platforms - whether it be over the air, on social media, via video or in person! Braden loves sharing his passion by helping & working with students and young people looking to break into the exciting world of all sorts of digital media production & broadcasting. He also serves an instructor at Connecticut School Of Broadcasting.
