About Braden Young
My name is Braden Young, I am studying Interior Design at Oregon State University. For a recent project of mine, I worked with a friend and designed a bakery for her, and then I made both an AutoCAD floor plan and a full SketchUp model of the bakery (as seen on page 6 & 7 of my portfolio). This was a great way for me to further my abilities in AutoCAD and SketchUp, as well as learn how to work and listen to someone on a project to tailor to their needs in a given space. I plan to make each of my designs revolve around using renewable sources and materials and bringing recycled products into each space. I would love to find a job that relates to sustainable design as well as thinking forward on ways to incorporate recycled materials as a key part of each design, reducing the number of expendables in each project.
