Former Interim Manager of the Arizona State Land Department Cultural Resources Management Program. Extensive cultural resources consultation and coordination experience with the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office, the Arizona State Museum, the Arizona State Land Department, the Arizona Department of Transportation, the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, various Native American Indian communities, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, the Arizona Game and Fish Department, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. and the Arizona State Forestry Division. Cost proposal development, Class archaeological survey, document editing, federal, state, and tribal consultation, laboratory work, monitoring, Phase I and II data recovery investigations, report preparation, and document editing. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, and author of over 250 cultural resource reports for a wide variety of clients, including Coronado National Forest; the Pima County Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation; Pima County Department of Transportation; the City of Tucson; the Arizona Department of Transportation, the Arizona Game and Fish Department; the U.S. Department of Defense; private developers, cellular communications providers, and commercial materials source providers throughout Arizona. Holder of an Arizona Antiquities Act Blanket Permit (2001-present) issued by the Arizona State Museum as Principal Investigator and Project Director, and previous holder of federal archaeological permits with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and Coronado National Forest. Has conducted fieldwork on U.S. National Park Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Department of Defense, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Pima County, Arizona Department of Transportation, Arizona State Trust land administered by the Arizona State Land Department, county, municipal, and private lands, as well as many Native American Indian communities in Arizona. Extensive survey work on the Tohono O’odham Nation, Gila River Indian Community and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Has managed and coordinated complex transportation and infrastructure development projects involving National Environmental Policy Act, Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and local government projects involving ADOT, the Federal Highway Administration, and other state and federal regulatory agencies.
