The Green Team of Wisconsin is Sustainable Landscape Design and Maintenance by way of:*Footprint Reduction-Green energy use where and when possible. Proper horticulture practices, proper scheduling, reduced frequency of visits when appropriate. Reclaimed/re-purposed wood. All natural fertilization and weed control. Raised beds, composting, water catchment, rain gardens, green roofs, bio-swales. Encouraging new and existing clients to use natives, edibles, and other more beneficial elements to their landscapes. Using less chemicals, offering 100% natural solutions when and where possible.*Full Service-Mowing, bed maintenance, pruning, composting, spring/fall clean up, natural lawn care, garden restoration, green roof maintenance, design, installation.*Socially Entrepreneurial-Actively collaborate with local training organizations to train and hire underemployed and unemployed young adults using trainees and recent hires to work amongst select partner sites to give schools and non-profits the opportunity to get additional labor hours for each labor hour purchased. Constantly working on strong/fun company culture-Monthly outings planned by staff-canoeing, rock climbing, blacksmith, non-profit tours, cookouts, restaurant/tavern tours. Bi-weekly training assisted by staff. Entrepreneurial outlets and mentoring.
