I have spent my life in construction, from mechanical engineering to general construction work. I started off working for my father on a building site back in the ’80s during school holidays. I always knew that construction was in my blood from an early age but I was also a keen inventor. From an early age, I was always inventing things and that has followed me throughout my life, from award-winning construction apps, and armoured jackets for dogs (Doggy Armour) to marine inventions and even medical devices. My inventions have always been about helping people and making life easier. We launched our Marine Inventions company at the Southampton boat show this year and had an overwhelming response to our products. So now our focus is on developing this brand and getting our products to the wider market.
