With over eight years of Supply Chain Management experience, I strive to improve efficiencies in inventory management, shipping and receiving, demand planning, and procurement. My recent experience as an Operations Analyst has also taught me how to improve internal processes. I enjoy problem-solving. Finding pain points or inefficiencies and working together with a team to conjure up probable solutions and implement them. Seeing how simple ideas can make a difference and improve a company's processes is what drives me to become an analyst.I am currently on a team in charge of changing current storage layouts at over 50 Amazon Fresh locations across the continental U.S. Constant changes, working with several different teams, and personally communicating with Amazon's upper management taught me the importance of always being three steps ahead of the game. Clear, condensed, and rapid communication skills have developed because of this project. In previous roles, I have been given, as well as found, continuous improvement projects. My greatest accomplishment was increasing a finished goods storage area capacity by over $5 million without adding any additional space. I have also led projects that focus on creating a safe environment to work in. Success is when fellow employees can seamlessly complete their daily tasks without questioning whether or not they will be able to go home to their families at night free of injury.
