As an Agricultural Business major with a minor in Financial Planning, I am deeply passionate about the world of finance and its potential to create lasting financial security for individuals and families. Currently, I am working towards becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), with a commitment to mastering the essentials of financial advising. Key Points: Education: Pursuing my degree at Texas A&M University, and I am currently engaged in the CFP curriculum, preparing to take the CFP exam. I have recently enjoyed learning about the eight principal knowledge categories, and have always taken a special interest in my finance and accounting classes. Extracurricular Involvement: I am an active member of the Financial Planning Student Association at Texas A&M, where I can connect with my peers and deepen my understanding of the financial advising field. I am also a member of a fraternity, where I had the opportunity to improve my management skills in the role of Vice President. Professional Development: In my part-time roles, particularly within the automotive industry, I've had the opportunity to apply and develop my problem-solving abilities while collaborating effectively within a team. These experiences have also given me the chance to assist customers during their moments of need. Future Endeavors: I am eagerly seeking a summer 2024 internship opportunity in the financial planning field, where I hope to apply my knowledge, gain valuable insights, and contribute to helping individuals achieve their financial goals.
