I have spent most of my 10+ year design career within the Luxury Resort and Hotel market, working with many luxury brands, and developing bespoke concept packages, where attention to detail and quality are key. Clear and effective communication are fundamental features of all my work, as many of the projects worked on have been with overseas clients, with their own cultural nuances to consider, with some designs developed in dual languages. This is where careful planning and strategy are crucial to achieving the desired end product. Flexibility is one of my key assets, having developed a solid and varied design skillset utilising tools such as Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro. As well as digital design software such as Figma, Miro, Slack and Notion. On many of the projects worked on, a variety of deliverables have been required, whether that be a printed document, a digital presentation, marketing material or website assets. All resulting in my ability to jump between each to make sure they are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard both autonomously or as part of a team. As an individual, I am always looking to develop and become a better designer, whether that be through courses (I recently completed a UX course at General Assembly) or learning from others and their experiences. In the past I have led internal training events, to make sure all team members grow and develop. The result is the end user having a fulfilled experience with a product they are proud of.
