I am currently a First Officer at Allegiant Air. I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience and would be a valuable addition as a pilot for your company. My interest in aviation came from my father, whom is also a pilot, and my experiences flying airplanes. Through my experiences and leadership positions, I have gained the knowledge necessary to be an excellent pilot. As a student at Eastern Illinois University, my involvement in Sigma Chi and the Flying 20’s sanctioned me to work with my peers while giving back to the community. Being a part of these organizations allowed me to develop strong time management and decision-making skills, which I use as a pilot daily. My experience as a business owner and First Officer has enhanced my aviation and communication skills by participating in over 3,500 hours of flight time. As a First Officer with Allegiant Air, I have learned how to maintain professional, trustworthy relationships and how to communicate professionally by collaborating with full-time pilots and management. As a top airline, I have expanded my knowledge on how to prepare flights and have improved my aeronautical decision-making in stressful conditions. Additionally, as a CFI, I was responsible for the safety of my students, the aircraft, and different types of business documents. I am excited to see the aviation industry grow, along with the opportunities that come with it. I would appreciate working in a position that would allow me to leverage my skills in the aviation industry as a pilot with your company.
